What makes Beritaz Care different?  Here’s what Jo, Team Leader at Springkell House Care Home says about her career

springkellStaffJoanne“I started working at Springkell House in 2006 when I was just 18 years old. Back then I was known as “Springkell Baby”! After working at Springkell for a year, I was given the opportunity to progress and do my NVQ2 in Health and Social Care and then the chance to do NVQ3. Once I’d completed that I was offered the chance to become a Senior Carer and I felt so proud of myself for achieving all of this. Springkell has always supported me throughout my career with all the relevant training but they’ve also given me the confidence to fulfil my potential, filling me with immense pride – working with dementia residents is very important to me. I started my career on the bottom rung and have worked hard to get where I am now – a Team Leader for Springkell. I have also been given the opportunity to become a Dementia Champion. I hope to stay on at Springkell and continue to be part of a team that encourages other people to follow my career path.
